Executive Agency for Higher Education and Research Funding - U.E.F.I.S.C.S.U. is a public institution, with legal authority, under the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation. U.E.F.I.S.C.S.U. is subordinated executive to the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation, and functional to the National University Research Council (C.N.C.S.I.S.) and to the Higher Education Funding Council (C.N.F.I.S.). 
The role of the Agency is to manage financial resources required to sustain and develop higher education and university scientific research. Therefore the Agency aims at attracting new financial sources and developing activities in order to achieve quality management of higher education and university scientific research.
